# QuickBooks FAQ

These answers cover MosoFin's current read-only QuickBooks connection.

## Is QuickBooks the only MosoFin source?

Yes, for now. QuickBooks is currently MosoFin's only data source. More data sources are coming, so stay tuned.

## Which QuickBooks countries are supported?

MosoFin currently supports QuickBooks companies based in the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. If your company is based elsewhere, contact MosoFin support before connecting.

## Can MosoFin change my QuickBooks books?

No. The connection is read-only. MosoFin does not create, update, delete, or post QuickBooks records.

## How many companies can I connect?

Each workspace can authorize up to five QuickBooks entities from the QuickBooks source type. Every new workspace has its own separate five-entity allowance.

## Does MosoFin copy my complete books?

MosoFin queries QuickBooks on demand and does not maintain a separate standing copy or background warehouse of your books. It stores the connection authorization and settings needed to operate the source.

## Where are my QuickBooks credentials entered?

Credentials are entered in Intuit's authorization flow. Do not send your QuickBooks password to MosoFin support.

## Why can a live source still return a blocked request?

Source status and tool policy are separate. A live source can have an individual tool set to **Require permission** or **Disabled**.
